The Olivier Messiaen International Prize

• A cash prize of C$25,000 which includes a commission by the OSM;
• Performance of the winning work by the OSM, under the direction of Kent Nagano, at the Gala Concert to be held during the 2007-2008 season;
• Radio broadcast of the winning work by Espace musique, Radio-Canada's Music Network;
• Performance of an orchestral work written by the winner of the Prize by an orchestra of Radio France;
• Recording of the work on compact disc (under the CBC Records/Les Disques SRC label);
• A commission of a work for piano to be performed during an upcoming Olivier Messiaen International Piano Competition, offered by the ACDA (Association pour la Création et la Diffusion Artistique) (Paris).
