The Claude Vivier National Prize
For the best Canadian work
- A cash prize of C$10,000;
- Performance of the winning work by the OSM, led by Kent Nagano, at the Gala Concert to be held during the 2007-2008 season;
- Radio broadcast of the winning work by Radio-Canada;
- Recording of the work on compact disc (under the CBC Records label)
In the event that the Oliver Messiaen International Prize is awarded to the winner of the Claude Vivier National Prize, this prizewinner will collect both prizes.
